I’m thankful for my Lord, who has blessed my life and enriched me to become a better person for Him.

I’m thankful for my husband, Marcus. Who takes such good care of me and loves me inspite of my rotten attitude somedays.

I’m thankful for my 1st son, Todd, who makes me so proud when he is able to take information and manipulate it in a database and figures out so many things, that just amaze me. He is my best friend, always has a compationate shoulder for me.

I’m thankful for my second son, Eric, who amazes me with his abilities to manipulate a camera and a computer. He is a terrific photographer, and a graphic artist, who took the time to teach me so many things as he learned them. He cares about me even when I’m grumpy. He is my LOGIC when I can’t see straight.

I’m thankful for my daughter, Karen, who is the joy of my life. She has finished giving my soul purpose, and topped us all by becoming a nurse! What a feat and accomplishment!

What pride and joys my children are. I can’t wait to see what my grandchildren will make of the world! Zylea and Joseph, what a start on the future! Special names for special children.

I am thankful for my wonderful family, all of you make me very proud.

For my Christian heritage, that we all may have the promise of Eternal Life.

    Especially for my lovely wife.

For our many friends and Church family that continue to lift us up in prayer.

Today I am thankful for the ability to be able to go lay down or sit in the recliner all day when I don’t feel good. There are so many out there that have the same physical problems I do, yet they must go to work, care for the children, fix the meals, mind the house, etc. I wish I could find a way to help them, and hope they can find a way to find someone to help them.

It is hard to ask for help, I know. Marcus gets overwhelmed by having to do everything for himself, the house, the meals, and wait on me when I can’t seem to even get out of the chair. He has his own physical ailments, yet continues on most days as if nothing is wrong, but I see it in his eyes when he is tired and hurting.

I’m so thankful to have him, and be in the situation to allow my body to take a break whenever it wants. God has been so good to me, and I am thankful for it today especially.

Today I’m thankful for my PT Carol. She really can do wonders for the pain from the lymphedema in my left arm. I wish I could go see her 2-3 times a week instead of only once a week. Today’s massage session really was very helpful, besides of course being relaxing!

While I’m not really thankful to be sick, I’m glad that the DRs paid close attention and did not go thru with the procedure that could have made me a lot worse taking it when I was not well. I’m also glad that the cough, which sounded really horrible!!! seems to have went away really quickly!

I’m thankful for local free/share/community lists where you can find a things other people don’t want anymore or have more than they need and they will share, or you can share with them.

This time, I’m requesting pumpkins seeds, and have gotten good responses. One gal, not only drove over have the distance for our meet, she cleaned most of the core stringy stuff off the seeds that you don’t use for much that I’ve ever heard of. Now wasn’t that icing on the cake! hehehe just cuz I can’t eat cake anytime I want doesn’t mean I can us it in analogies anytime I want :)

Pain pills are kicking in and I’m thankful for feeling much better.
